Technical Features

The GTC Series wings have been fashioned with a three–dimensional airfoil form that is aerodynamic in character, striving to attain an ideal equilibrium between downforce and drag. To confirm the efficacy of this design, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analyses were conducted which corroborated its success at optimizing downforce while decreasing resistance.
The GTC Series utilizes carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite materials to construct its airfoils, resulting in a combination of durability and lightness. The airfoils are comprised of carbon fibers that have been pre-soaked and woven together, providing exceptional strength without adding excessive weight. To create these airfoils, a pre-impregnated composite production technique is employed, along with a high temperature autoclave and vacuum bagging process, as well as premium aluminum billet molds.

To enhance its strength and stability, the GTC Series airfoils feature 10mm 6061 billet aluminum pedestals coated in a flat black powder finish. These pedestals are designed to secure the carbon fiber airfoil, which is crafted from lightweight yet durable composite materials typically used in the aerospace industry. As a result, you can be assured that your carbon fiber airfoil is firmly supported by aircraft-grade components.
