Audi S4/S5 (B9) 3.0 V6 TFSI Stage 1 Remap
You will find the 3.0 TFSI V6 EA839 engine nested in the Audi S4/5 B9 and SQ5. Developing around 354PS between 5400-6400rpm, and 500NM from 1370-4500rpm it has all the right ingredients, however as we know there is room for improvement. Unusually for a V6 it has a 90° block angle, rather than the more traditional 60°, with a balance shaft to compensate for the torque inertia and promote smooth running. Also, thanks to its aluminium construction it’s lighter than the previous 3.0 TFSI V6 variants.
Intensively tested and refined on our own in house S4 along alongside our Global Development Programme, throttle response has been dialled in to give the driver a deeper sense of connection and involvement with the car. Without compromising on the refinement of the driving experience, one of the main selling points of this engine and vehicle. Rather than being pulled, the hike in torque gives the feeling of a firm push from the bottom of your back, and it’s addictive, the car now begs to be driven. Optimised power delivery and with much more torque at its disposal, you can now drop below 4000rpm and still pull hard out of any corner without hesitation.
Revo offers some of the most substantial performance increases on the market, however, only the driven know that peak figures form part of a much bigger picture and are never the sole focus during Revo’s development process; it’s all about the drive. Only Revo offers a perfect balance of performance, economy, and engine longevity.
Revo performance ECU Software gives you much more than just an increase in power and torque. A large part of development is based on driving scenarios and feedback; our calibration doesn’t just offer great dyno curves and peak power/torque figures but an exhilarating driving experience. Expect smooth and refined response at low RPM & partial throttle, with huge gains at wide-open throttle and throughout the whole rev range.

Additional Features
Cold Start Protection Failure
For engine oil to work effectively and lubricate your engine it needs time to warm up. When you first start your car, the cold oil is at its thickest, producing higher oil pressure when pumped around the engine putting extra pressure on oil seals. As the engine temperature increases, so does oil temperature. This thins the oil, enabling it to run more freely and better lubricate the moving parts of your engine. Cold Start Protection helps protect engine components by limiting turbo boost based on RPM and oil temperature until it reaches the 80ºC optimum operating level.
Temperature Protection
Revo Temperature Protection is an additional safety feature that reduces overall load as the oil temperature passes a set limit. Exhaust gas temperatures (EGT) are also monitored, adapting the operating conditions (Air Fuel Ratio) to ensure they stay within safe parameters. If EGT’s reach a set upper limit, then power is automatically reduced until the engine returns to a safe operating temperature.
Switchable Software
Using an SPS switch you can take advantage of the switch-ability of Revo software. The Patented OBD2 interface is the ultimate compliment to Revo performance software, giving you the ability to switch between stock mode and 3 fuel quality modes via the vehicle OBD port.
SPS Position 1 – Stock Mode
SPS Position 2 – 95ron fuel
SPS Position 3 – 97ron fuel
SPS Position 4 – 98/99ron fuel
Simply select a program, plug in, wait a few seconds, remove the SPS device and start the car. It’s simple and there’s no fixed switch to install in the vehicle.
Performance
Peak gains are calculated by the difference in peak values (headline figures) of the stock run vs Revo tuned run. Maximum gains are calculated at a single point of the RPM range where the maximum improvements in performance can be seen. This metric gives a better understanding of the performance gains throughout the entire rev range, rather than solely focusing on the peak numbers.
