Suspension Secrets BMW (E92) M3 Adjustable Rear Drop Links/End Links
Our BMW (E92) M3 Competition Adjustable Rear Drop Links are purpose-built to help optimise the suspension geometry of a lowered car.
What makes the Suspension Secrets Adjustable Rear Drop Links/End Links unique?
When designing our in-house products we seek to make them as light, strong, and capable as possible. We also want our products to have the longevity and consistency required for repeated heavy usage, either on track or on the road. As a result, we’ve chosen to use aircraft-grade aluminium for the bodies of our Suspension Secrets Adjustable Rear Drop Links, and stainless steel for the rose joints and bearings. This makes our rear drop links the perfect for handling the greater cornering forces generated by a thicker or stiffer anti-roll bar.
Why would I want to install Adjustable Rear Drop Links/End Links?
Our adjustable rear drop links are designed to work with cars that have been lowered by using lowering springs, or coilovers.
If you lower your car, the position of the anti-roll bar changes. Upon lowering, the anti-roll bar is pulled upwards towards the chassis, which leaves the ends in a different location. This can cause the anti-roll bar to either hit the chassis or suspension arms.
Installing our rear drop links will allow you to reset the position of the rear anti-roll bar, preventing it from hitting other chassis components, and restoring the original geometry of the suspension.
Our drop links are a valuable upgrade that lets you make best use of the dynamic benefits of lowering a car, whilst neutralising the downsides.
The adjustability of our drop links is very valuable when corner weighting your car. When corner weighting, the ride heights of each of the four wheels will be slightly different to one another. Subsequently, this difference in height creates a ‘tension’ in the anti-roll bar, and will cause the load transfer of the car to be unevenly or unpredictably transferred between left and right hand corners.
Our adjustable rear drop links allow you to remove the tension from the anti-roll bar, restoring the normal and predictable handling that you would expect.
