Technical Features
The GTC Series wings have been designed with a 3D airfoil shape which has been ballasted to achieve a harmonious balance between downforce and drag, with these results having been corroborated via computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analyses. The aerodynamic ideology applied here enables a satisfactory level of downforce to remain in line with reduced drag.
Fabricated from carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite materials, the GTC Series airfoils are renowned for their impressive robustness and light weight design. Utilizing advanced compositing strategies such as high-temperature autoclave and vacuum bagging, skilled craftsmanship is employed to produce aluminum billet molds of the finest caliber.
The GTC Series airfoils have been constructed through a melding of lightweight yet durable carbon fiber composites, and 10mm 6061 aircraft–grade billet aluminum pedestals adorned with a smooth, matte black powder coat finish.
