Technical Features
The GTC Series wings incorporate an aerodynamic 3D airfoil shape engineered to optimally balance downforce and drag, both of which have been verified through computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis. This aerodynamic architecture allows for a desirable level of downforce to be maintained in tandem with drag minimization.
The GTC Series airfoils are fabricated with carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) composite materials, which are renowned for their exceptional robustness and lightweight nature. The construction process utilises pre–impregnated woven carbon fibre sheets that further bolster their strength–to–weight ratio. Composite production techniques, including high–temperature autoclave and vacuum bagging, are employed and expertly accomplished in aluminium billet molds of the highest quality.
The GTC Series airfoils have been fabricated with a combination of lightweight yet resilient carbon fiber composites, and 10mm 6061 aircraft–grade billet aluminum pedestals with a glossy, flat black powder coat finish.
