The Dreasmcience RS MK3 Stage 2 kit is designed to take your RS to the next level. We have now added DS-Ultima 3 to our already comprehensive choice of tunes for your RS. We have been working on this latest set up for several months and are delighted with the overall performance, power output, reliability and most importantly driveability. The test vehicle when fitted with these stage 2 mods, reliably and consistently produces around 405Bhp and just over 430FtLb of torque, this map as can be seen from the graph (Dyno Graph) achieves its peak power at 5350 Rpm and holds over 400 Bhp thereafter making it a bit of an animal when racing or making high rpm gear changes. The torque curve has no crazy spike and is controlled as can be seen from the graph we hold over 425Ftlb of torque from 2500 rpm to 4500 rpm with a flat torque curve and the drop off is only slight so the car always feels progressive and like it’s continuously pulling hard! You will notice an over-boost feature with this map when driving that activates above 4500 rpm so you never have the feeling that the car is letting off power, ever! The small humps that can be seen in both the stock map torque curve, and the Ultima 3 torque curve, are a safety feature as we run to a load target / limit same as your stock file, this ensures that under harsh conditions your car will still perform safely and within tolerance.

This Ultima 3 tune must only be run with 99 octane fuel in the UK, 98 Octane in Australia, and ideally 99+ octane in other European countries who have access to higher octane fuels. If you struggle to find a fuel suitable we do offer an octane booster called Boostane (BOOSTane) which won SEMA product of the year 2016 and really does do what it says on the tin.

Comparing this package to the Stage 1 kit, You can see that we have added a high flowing 3″ down pipe and Motorsport intercooler to the spec. With removing the restrictive standard cat, we are now able to flow a much higher velocity of air through the vehicle. Of course with more power becomes more heat. We have therefore added the specially developed 120mm deep core intercooler designed to manage with the increased bhp and torque figures. DS Ultima 3 is a free update for any existing RS iMap customers.


Stratagem iMap:

The concept of the Stratagem iMap™ is to offer a simple plug and play, easy to use, attractive, yet multi-functional device that has the ability to offer customers a  wide range of Dreamscience’s own proven tune files, as well as having the ability to receive custom tune files. With the iMap you have the ability to flash between the tune files on the device for your Focus RS an unlimited number of times, plus you can use the iMap to return your RS to stock settings an unlimited amount of times. This is required before services etc.

Panel filter:

By making changes to the Air intake on the RSMK3 we are allowing the engine to draw in air much more efficiently, this is crucial when trying to improve power output of the engine. The first step is done by the means of a more efficient air filter.


Velossa Tech BIG Mouth:

This kit is designed to scoop up, pressurize and feed fresh air into your stock air box. Improving performance, throttle response and intake air temperatures. Use the forward motion of your car, turn that motion into pressure. Increasing the inlet pressure to your turbocharger has profound effects on performance. Increases in air mass flow, reduction in waste gate duty cycle and reduced inlet and charge temps are some of the benefits of running a properly designed inlet. This set up is designed to receive a direct feed of cold air from outside the car than consume hot air under the bonnet that is heated by the engine.


Dreamscience Intercooler:

This truly is a Motorsport Intercooler that is built to lightweight with high a performance core.  The end tanks have been hand crafted with a specially developed 120mm deep core. Making much higher power figures on our Dyno compared to the stock intercooler! This Intercooler is designed and Proven to extract maximum gains from your 400+ bhp RS MK3. This I.C. was heavily tested when developing that DS Ultima 3 software which is now available on the iMap tuning handset. During development  the air intake temperatures were data logged on the dyno. Charge temps did not exceed +10 degrees over ambient temperatures. Results on the road proving even more impressive! All Intercoolers in this package will come with the Dreamscience Motorsport Stencil. You will have the option to have the finish as Chrome or Black in the selection drop down.


Focus RS MK3 3″ Down Pipe De-Cat / Race- Cat:

The Dreamscience 3″ Down pipe is a high flowing system made from the highest quality aircraft-grade stainless steel. This system has been designed and manufactured by our top technical engineers in the U.K. We have equipped this system with a threaded boss for the standard oxygen sensor. When designing the RS MK3 Down Pipe De-Cat / Race cat, we made sure we aimed to achieved three important qualities. Enhanced performance, Sharped Sound and a high quality finish. This modification removes the restrictive standard cat and down pipe and replaces it with a 3″ high flowing down pipe. This will therefore allow the turbo to spool better and faster, increasing acceleration and power. This will also improve throttle response and the torque output of your RS.

The choice of down pipe adapter you require will depend on the cat back that is currently fitted to your RS. You will be able to select your option in the drop down section.
