V3 Overrun Software. [Fiesta ST MK8, MK8.5 FL, Puma ST]

The V3 overrun software is built around the current DS ultima+(99) Stage 1 tune but with the new features of your choice included. This is a separate tune and will not replace the current tunes currently on your handset. You can therefore switch between the maps an unlimited amount of times without losing a life (as long as the iMap stays paired to the same vehicle).

Although the sound and performance is at its best with a De-Cat or GPF delete fitted, the V3 overrun has been tested with a standard catalytic converter and with the Dreamscience down pipe race cat.

Overrun – Enhanced burbles, pops, overrun – with the option to select length of overrun around your preference.

• 1.75 SECONDS
• 2.5 SECONDS

Once the overrun map is loaded, the overrun features will only become active in the following modes;

• SPORTS MODE
• RACE MODE

In ‘Normal Mode’ the overrun features will remain deactivated. The same as Std. For best results, aftermarket exhaust upgrades are recommended.

Launch Control

Launch control is set to just below 3995rpm. After multiple trial and error tests, we found this was the optimum RPM to get the launch from a stand still position without too much torque loss intervention or wheel spin – Whilst still being able to activate the overrun burbles/ pops from a stand still engine rev. This option works best in RACE mode to prevent traction intervention. This feature will remain active in all driver section modes. Including NORMAL mode.

How to activate Launch Control? No need to to rush around with your steering wheel at the traffic lights anymore. Simply apply your clutch, put your ST in 1st and apply the accelerator.

Please Note*

The Fiesta ST MK8 / Fiesta ST MK8.5 / Puma ST INCLUDE overrun features (pops, bangs) in the stock Ford Calibration, when Sport Mode/ Race Mode is activated. (Albeit, for a short period)

If you do not experience ANY overrun (pops/bangs) with the stock Ford map (when in Sport or Track mode), purchasing the Dreamscience V3 Overrun map will not fix this issue.

The issue of not experiencing any overrun (pops/bangs) in nearly all cases, is related to a blocked, partially blocked, or damaged gas particulate filter and/or catalytic convertor.

Dreamscience will not take on the responsibility of assisting to fix the issue of an unnoticeable overrun (pops/bangs) as the issue is not software related.

Therefore, we highly advise assessing whether your vehicle does show signs of healthy overrun (pops/bangs) prior to purchasing overrun software.
